Question:

DOES RADICAL FEMINISM Mean The End Of Some Types Of Imagination?!?

I present the following clip:

A woman would have been unsuited to the role of the ninja. She simply wouldn't have had the same effect, no matter what.

Hence the question is: Do modern films seek to 'water-down' men's abilities so that it will appear that women can do as well, especially physically?

  1. Lol. You have very crappy taste.

    And that clip was c**p-tastic.

  2. Yup and it's only beginning.  Hollyweird is the best way to brainwash children and the projectors are running full steam ahead.

  3. Yea they've been doing that for a while now, it makes me laugh.

If anyone's been following olympic coverage that's all the proof you need that men are physically superior to women, it's not a moral claim its a biological fact.

Perhaps we're just fascinated by women taking on unsuited roles in films

edit: I drink my milk warm diedre =D

  4. Evidently your own imagination is in overdrive.

Please take your medications as prescribed: they will lessen the depths and reduce the frequency and duration of your episodes.

  5. Ah, Anatol.  You're so predictable.

Once again:  Take a look at the scene at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIs8IokGp... - the movie is by Joss Whedon, a very feminist writer and director.  Exactly how are the abilities of them men in this scene watered down?  They look pretty capable to me.

  6. More likely, modern films relish the idea of fusing together two abilities in only one person.  It is not only economical (imagine paying one instead of two and an audience that has been captured by either or of the protagonist's extraordinary abilities), it also in keeping with human behavior.  Imagination does not only mean recreating a past impression

but also includes fusing together two different impressions to create a new reality, e.g. mermaids, centaurs, flying dragons. etc.  These themes  have proven time and again to be crowd drawers.  Fantasies are not necessarily bad; they in fact prove the creative power of man.
