  1. Find a way to discover what you truly want to do and shove past all obstacles.  Life is too short to be working at something you hate.  What would you do if you could do anything?  What would you do if there were no obstacles in your way?  Do what you love and the money will follow.  Two of the last three sentences are titles of books.  Find them.  Find your passion, your niche.  Don't just step outside The Box, tear it apart with your bare teeth and crush it under your fabulous shoes!

  2. Tell them you need to leave as you have a job interview with another company.

  3. I hate my job as well.  I have an easy job and am just bored to death most of the time.

  4. Tell them that you have diarrhea! lol They will let you go home for sure. Ha ha ha ha

  5.   Go to a bookstore, Barnes and Noble,  go to the "business" sectiopn and buy a book on resumes. it will set you back, $ 25.00-30.00, but it may be the best investment you ever  made in your career.

When quitting time comes around, do you say , " what? Already?"  If you say "what? Already!" Then you have a job you love.

  6. Nah I don't like my job either.  I'm a receptionist at a law firm and people just talk to me like I am an idiot.  I'd rather work in the human or social services department, where it seems more fulfilling.

Then again opening up a cupcake shop would be so cool.

  7. it's time to find a new job. The longer you stay there with poor work performance and poor attendance the worse the reference is that they'll give you.

  8. I'd say it's past time for you to start a job search.  If you are this dissatisfied, you need to leave.

Instead of spending all day on Yahoo Answers, go to the job section of your local newspaper on-line and start searching.  Check out www.careerbuilder.com and www.monster.com.  You're sure to find a job soon that better meets your criteria.

By staying in the position and playing on the computer all day,  you are doing the company a disservice.  They are paying to have certain tasks done and it's not happening.

If you are playing sick all the time, it seems like the company may be looking for your replacement  now.  Oh did you know that most companies have software in place that monitors where an employee surfs on the computer??  So they may be monitoring you right now.

  9. I felt JUST like you did with everything except for the boss part, I had nice bosses.

You can tell from the key-word [had] that I'm no longer there.

I didn't feel like it was for me and I dreaded going every morning.

What I did was:  save money, quit and enroll in school full-time.

It was such a scary and hard decision but, if you truly feel that way, then do yourself a favor and look for something else.  You will not stay there long anyway AND keep your sanity.  Do something about it NOW!!!!!

  10. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Taking your car into the shop?

    Your child is sick?

Your sister/brother is in jail and you need to bail them out.

Your sister/brother car broke down and you need to go and get them

You are volunteering at the Humane Society and have an appointment.

You have an appointment to see a shrink because of work related stress.
