  1. the government we have now is kind of disconnected with its people. They run it like a corporation getting as much as they can from the people while giving as little as possible in return.

  2. The DC politicians are a nation unto themselves. They could just as well be in Beijing.  They gave themselves the finest health care, and call us communists for desiring the same.  They take our hard earned tax dollars, and give our national treasure away, by the billions, to the Corporate thieves.  They acquiesce to Presidential lies and squander trillions of our taxes on a fruitless War.  Obviously the people making those decisions don't care about American citizens nor are they patriotic in any way.  In fact they act like enemies of the people more than their representatives.  Our revolution shook off the yoke of dictatorship 200 years ago and we need to do it again. Take back America for Americans.

  3. Yeah its this thing we like to call "life"

  4. The American government is not seperate from its citizens; they are one and the same.

  5. Well, American citizens voted for those folks in government, right?

  6. What if the government was 'going overseas' to help its own people?

Ask yourself this, what is the single resource that makes your comfortable life possible here in America? And where is it found the most?

  7. Cecilla is correct, but there should be term limits, just as the president.  Then when we the ppl fire them, they do not pass go nor collect their $$$$$$, until they draw SS like every other citizen retired!

  8. it suck here

  9. Yes, they care about us about as much as any other aristocracy.   We are necessary tools and slaves to serve them.

They don't care about our happiness or our rights however, and will do everything to steal away our rights and raise taxes little by little.

  10. The problem is the premise of your question. Government is not designed nor going to "care" about anything. Politicians that know better are taking power and you are falling victim, and you have no idea why. This is not a socialist government, but a representative republic, and we have a constitution that has been trampled the last 50 years by liberalism and socialism. And a press that is supposed to be warning of such intrusions are willing accomplices.

  11. Who has control of Congress??? And they aren't doing THEIR jobs. Don't blame it on President George Bush. All of it has been happening the last 4 years.

  12. The things you have stated above, are not just happening in America, but also in other more wealthy nations.

I believe that your government does care about the citizens of America, but the U.S.A. is an enormous place and the government is made up of human beings and they are not infallible.

  13. As for the jobs going overseas, well the fact is we live in a capitalist society. It's cheaper to make things overseas and import than to have them made here. While that sucks, it also means that it costs the American public less to purchase. If things were not "outsourced" then the price of certain goods would undoubtedly be higher. Does that amount to a problem as well?

As for immigration, there is only so much the government can do. While I agree that they should be doing more, there are a lot of collateral issues. For instance, the fence-building proposal along the border would cost a great deal of money. That means the money must come from somewhere. So the options are (a) the money is appropriated from somewhere else and that organization/branch/social program is pissed, or (b) taxes are used and they are raised to overcome the deficit. Either way, it's not as easy as the candidates and others make it sound.

  14. nope
