DPR Korea...? Please answer, 10 points (:?

Question

I need to find the population of DPR Korea for my coursework (it's about the olympics if you must know!) I want to use the same site to collect my information from to make it fair etc. but it only has the population for either North or South Korea, could you tell me whether DPR Korea is just North or both North & South or what ? i'm confused!

I believe DPR Korea and north Korea are the same thing.

DPKR consists of just North Korea - South Korea is called The Republic of Korea

The population of  the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in 2007 was 23,301,725.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea means North Korea and the population is believed to be around 20 million.
