Question:

DREAM INTERPRETATION ?!?

I just woke up from a dream. There are changing scenes in it.

In the first scene some carpenters had come to our house to measure the length of the wood of our beds n chair... They asked what wood was our bed made of.. In my dream i was telling them that i could not remember the wood and the nearest i could get to remembering was that it was some wood called Buddhist wood [ Actually when i got up from my dream , i instantly knew that its not called Buddhist wood , its called Bhutan wood]

The next scene was that we [ i and my parents and my sister; but i guess i was a man in his dream] were opening a new Shoe Shop... We had recently opened it and we had this rule that the customers had to remove their shoes before entering the shop, and i remember discussing the need for making a shoe stand for these shoes of the customer... Outside the shop we had made a big golden sculpture of the foot in a Chappal ( i hope u know what chappal is-- it is a foot wear)... Similarly there was a black Sculpture of the foot in a chappal.. Our shop was not quite big n was quite crowded.. The black sculpture was inbetween the two shoe stands[ where the customers left their footwear before they entered the shop] due to lack of space... Then the scene changed and i , in the same shop , was using water and a brush to remove the dirt off some metaled plate (which was a part of some vehical i guess)...

Then the scene changed again.. And there was a general chaos where people were shouting to shut down all the shops cos the policemen were coming... Even the resturants were forcibly being shut down by the policemen and they were snatching off the food from the people and making them get out of the resturants... Then i saw this very disturbing scene: ---- I saw a woman who had completely de-skined her body , sitting on the ground and stairing into the ground... She was not having any skin on her and was nude and was oozing and was all pink (as flesh was completely visible)... The police man approached her and told her to remove the red kumkum which she had put on her forehead...He took some cloth or paper and removed the the line of kumkum on her forehead... Then the woman looked up and said in hindi:

"aaazaadi dey mujko maa"

[ which means give me freedom oh mother! ]

And then she looked at him and said :

"Meri aazaadi koi nahi cheen saktha"

[which means that nobody can snatch my freedom]

I remember that this woman also had a girl child who was not de-skined , unlike her..

What is this dream all about? I thinkin it is to do with the freedom struggle of India , and also against racial discrimination...

Please please somebody interpret this dream of mine....

  1. Maybe you are right.

  2. you probably want everything to work out in your life (business, house etc.) even in this freedom struggle. alternatively, what the woman said could mean that you want to make your own choices in life, without influence that could lead to sorrow

  3. Just like any other dream any of us have.  Interprept it yourself.  Honestly it means nothing to me, only to you.

  4. While people do sometimes dream about ideological causes, especially if they have been working a lot for that cause, it's more likely that your dreaming mind has found in these images metaphors for something going on in your inward life.

    > I just woke up from a dream. There are changing scenes in it.

Most often, changing scenes are caused by shifting viewpoint among the many parts of you that have a stake in the discussion.  Perhaps you've had it happen where you were debating buying something:  and you thought about what good it would do you; but then you thought about objections to that; and then you thought about the cost; and so on.  The same shifting of viewpoint happens in dreams, but we're only given the images, and often not the unifying subject-matter.

    > remembering was that it was some wood called Buddhist wood [

    > Actually when i got up from my dream , i instantly knew that its

    > not called Buddhist wood , its called Bhutan wood]

Ok, the furniture represents something here.  Furniture are the accoutrements by which we rest the body:  perhaps this is about the accoutrements by which you rest your mind and soul.  The question then is whether they measure up to what you need.

    > The next scene was that we [ i and my parents and my sister; but

    > i guess i was a man in his dream] were opening a new Shoe

    > Shop...

There's a thematic similarity between shoes and furniture:  we use furniture to rest our bodies at home, while we use shoes to protect our feet when we go out into the world.  It seems you've switched perspective into the carpenters:  your spiritual understanding is sufficient for you to rest in the comfort of your home, and now you seek to adapt that understanding to something that will allow you to make your way in the world.

    > We had recently opened it and we had this rule that the

    > customers had to remove their shoes before entering the shop, and

Interesting!  No shoes in the shoe shop.  This is a general call for a widespread change in your mind (each person representing a specific part of you).

    > i remember discussing the need for making a shoe stand for these

    > shoes of the customer...

The old shoes (the old ways of making your way in the world) will not be discarded, but will be available for you to return to.  A good, sensible mode of experimentation.

    > Outside the shop we had made a big

    > golden sculpture of the foot in a Chappal ( i hope u know what

    > chappal is-- it is a foot wear)... Similarly there was a black

    > Sculpture of the foot in a chappal..

Haha...  that's fine.  Yin-yang footwear:  you must be able to deal with both the good and the bad.

    > Our shop was not quite big n was quite crowded.. The black

    > sculpture was inbetween the two shoe stands[ where the

    > customers left their footwear before they entered the shop] due

    > to lack of space...

Ok, the black sculpture is given more prominence probably because being able to make your way spiritually in the world when it comes to bad stuff is more problematic than dealing with good stuff.  So that's central to this project.

However, what follows is a sense of not having enough space, which is the beginning of confinement.

    > Then the scene changed and i , in the same shop , was using

    > water and a brush to remove the dirt off some metaled plate

    > (which was a part of some vehical i guess)...

Water often represents affection:  that might or might not be the case here, but the dealing-with-bad-stuff and making-your-way-in-the-world themes here have turned into (a) a more powerful way of making your way -- a vehicle rather than shoes; but (b) only part of a vehicle; and (c) a dirty vehicle -- because we're dealing with the black footwear, the negative stuff, which (d) you seek to purify, because the difficulty is to handle negativity without resorting to negativity.

    > Then the scene changed again.. And there was a general chaos

    > where people were shouting to shut down all the shops cos the

    > policemen were coming...

Ah, now the dream is fighting you.  Your internal self-discipline will not permit you to resort to negativity.

    > Even the resturants were forcibly being

    > shut down by the policemen and they were snatching off the

    > food from the people and making them get out of the resturants...

You do not permit yourself to be nourished in this fashion.

    > Then i saw this very disturbing scene: ---- I saw a woman who had

    > into the ground... She was not having any skin on her and was nude

    > and was oozing and was all pink (as flesh was completely visible)...

That is very disturbing.  It seems you're punishing

  5. How to properly interpret the meaning of your own dreams is essential for many reasons. Here I'm going to present a few of them, just to give you an idea of its potential.

    1. Your dreams are not meaningless images. In your dreams you receive many messages. Therefore, you must learn how to understand them. Perhaps they can save your life!

    2. Your dreams are your own; nobody else can see or distort them. You are the sole owner of this resource and the messages you receive are given only to you and created especially for you and nobody else. Each one sees different dreams with situations and personalities that are familiar to them, even if the themes of many dreams are the same.

Thus, your dreams contain private messages.

    3. You see dreams every time you sleep, without asking or paying for them. They are a gift you receive from the wise unconscious mind.

    4. I continued Carl Jung's research into the unknown region of the psyche through dream interpretation. If you translate your dreams using my simplified version of Carl Jung's method, you will receive information and guidance regarding the most important points of your life from the ancient, saintly and perfect unconscious mind that regulates the functioning of your body. This information is not from a human source with dubitable knowledge or from someone who could distort this knowledge on purpose for selfish reasons.

    5. After learning how to correctly interpret your dreams, you will have this knowledge forever and will be able to interpret your dreams all you life. This means that you will have guidance and help forever from the unconscious.

    6. You will develop your intelligence by developing your conscience from the guidance in your dreams. This way, you will always be more intelligent until you become a genius, able to solve any problem with ease.

    7. You will be able to interpret the facts and events of daily life in the same way you interpret your dreams. Everything around you can inform you about yourself, other people and the future if you know how to translate the symbolic meaning of reality just as you translate that of dreams.

    8. You will be able to change the future after predicting its development and correcting your mistakes. Everything that happens to you is strictly related to your personality and behavior. You can rectify errors and prepare the future you desire, with the positive results you wish to see.

    9. The mysterious language used by the unconscious mind is incomprehensible to the conscience because of the presence of the anti-conscious, in addition to your conscious. The anti-conscious constantly tries to destroy your conscious mind through craziness and it would distort the guidance of avoiding the traps of the anti-conscious and staying far from the labyrinth of craziness.

    10. If you never learn how to interpret your dreams, you will never completely develop your conscious mind and live threatened by the crazy content inherent in the anti-conscious. This has not transformed via consciousness and it wishes to destroy the conscious to make you insane. This is the worse danger of your life, since you will never be cured of insanity unless you pass through a thousand crucifixions.

    11. By interpreting your dreams, you can prevent depression, neurosis, hysteria, psychosis, schizophrenia, suicidal tendencies and all existent mental illnesses. All these diseases are caused by the anti-conscience that can be transformed into a positive part of your psyche, instead of constantly bearing this enemy within you because it constantly tries to destroy your conscience through craziness.

    12. You will also be cured from several diseases in your body by interpreting your dreams. All somatic diseases have a psychological cause because everything that happens to you depends on your attitude.

    13. You can communicate with the unconscious and be able to ask whatever you wish to learn. You would receive answers to your questions from this source that is actually the wisest existent source in our world and even beyond our world.

    14. You will discover proofs of the existence of God, who regulates the functioning of the unconscious and is responsible for the world's artistic, philosophical and religious actions. You will understand that you are blessed since you are in contact with the wisdom of the creator of our planet. You will realize that Earth is really a place where you have to transform your psyche, so that you may be calm and able to live happily, without provoking wars and destruction.

    15. You'll be able to understand how other people think, feel and sense, analyzing their personalities in your dreams just as you analyze your own. This information you receive is priceless and unique. This way you'll be able to understand everyone's personalities and how to behave with them. You can avoid relationships with people who have a psychological type different to yours and who will never be able to understand you.
