DREAMS! can someone interpret a dream for me? it would mean a lot?

ok, so i was in boston (never been there) with my family and we were there to see my cousin. my cousin works as a leading chef in a very well-known hotel in boston, so he said he would take us there but suddenly we went into this skyscraper that had the second half of the building as an elevator...like the whole concrete part went up and down like an elevator. and when we reached the top, i absolutely freaked out so we all came down...

later in the dream, one thing led to another and i was trying to save myself from a person who was trying to stab me and put me in a large grinding machine! i managed to flee.

can someone interpret this dream?

Well being in a place you've never been can mean that you were lonely, confused isolated and lost, the elevator can simulate a conflict in your life, and reaching the top can be the major conflict or what is really bothering you. Maybe you are afraid of reaching the top. The stabbing can be somebody trying to destroy your attempts at success or something like that. There is a loose interpretation, from a regular person's point of view. Hope this helps.

Not many things in this dream seems to have any significance... However, I could be wrong. Nevertheless, not all dreams mean something, so this one could possibly  have been caused by just something you've watched recently or by eating before bed.

Kind of reminds me of Sweeney Todd, though. The grinding machine part.

you can never be too sure but i would say that something bad might happen to you while visting your cousin, dont worry i dont think you will die but just something bad might happen.

And then again somethimes dreams mean nothing.

I honestly don't think this dream has a meaning... I think you just watched a very good action movie before you went to sleep.

Sounds like a classic case of vertigo (fear of heights) and claustrophobia (walls crushing you and fear of small spaces along with lots insecurity (taking another form so no one will see and notice you) ! Hope this helps explain why you dream these types of things.
