DREAMS - is there anything that can make them more vivid or rememberable?

I want to be able to remember my dreams better or have more vivid dreams. Is there anything I can eat/drink before bed that will help me with this?

  1. There are many ways.  Tell yourself every time you go to sleep that you are going to remember your dreams to get your mind in the mode to do so.  Make sure you either keep paper and pen next to your bed or a recorder and every time you wake up and had a dream record the dream right away and you will soon be remembering them on a regular basis.  There are some herbs to help with dreams and make them more vivid, for example catnip, Valerian, if your old enough just a half a can of beer, and make sure you don't eat stuff with a lot of fat soon before bedtime, and the absolute best thing to take before bed is something they call kava kava,  it's easy to get at health food stores or the internet.  Also a much better way to remember dreams is lucid dreams,  just do a search of it on google I think you will find it very interesting.


  2. Personally, I used a dream diary. Remembering dreams is a habit. I kept a notebook and pen by my bed and developed the habit of remembering and writing my dreams before I got out of bed. I don't think this changed the nature of my dreams, but the nature of my memory of them.
