HOW MANY HOURS DO I HAVE TO SPEND BEHIND THE WHEEL SO I CAN GET MY PERMIT I LIVE IN cALIFORNIA.

  1. No matter what I recommend spending as many hours as possible with an experienced driver prior to seeking your license.

    Call me draconian but I'm putting in at least 500 hours with my kids when they are ready - I'm making them drive me everywhere!

    It's like getting a pilots license...


  2. you have to drive 6 hours with a driver ed person. And after that you have to drive like 25 hours and 5 of them have to be at night. I think.

  3. i don't know...

    but in Kansas you have to have 40 hours to get your permit 30 of those daytime...

    if you don't have  a good answer go to your local DMV and ask they will tell you without a problem.
