DS Action Replay Game ID Refuses To Work ?

Question

I have a DS Action Replay system and I tried several times to enter the correct game ID for Pokemon Diamond, and when I press "next" the lower screen goes into blue and red vertical lines. I'm not sure if this means the system is broken or what, but help would be appreciated. =] Thanks!
