I have both, though I&#039;m not a girl. Here&#039;s what I think...

DS: Has quite a bit more childish/cute or aimed for younger gamers.

PSP: Has a lot more intense games for mature audiences.

Of course, this is only my opinion and I definitely may be wrong. I first bought a DS because I was more interested in the Final Fantasy/Role-Playing Games. Then I bought a PSP for Final Fantasy Crisis Core and other games.

I suggest you look at what games each system offers, then decide based on which system has more games you would want to play.

i would suggest DS because their games are more girl friendly, like nintendogs (great for young girls up to teens. you can talk to them via microphone which it included and prepare them for dog competitions) and sims 2 (which enables you to take care of virtual people)they also have the capability of playing thousand of game boy advance games that deal with horses. it is more user friendly usually allowing the player to use buttons or the touch screen.  although it lacks the music player and video player, its family friendly titles will enable girls to enjoy video games.

PSP of course. It has a built in web browser with which you can download demos from playstaions website or check your email or whatever. If you have a Playstation 3 you can convert your old playstation one games into your psp&#039;s memory card. And than if you mod your PSP you can put old games from snes or nintendo and more on there. You can even pirate full psp games and playstation one games (not recommended) and play them from your memory card! I think Ive even seen DS emulators for a modded PSP. Theres a lot more good things about the psp that Im too lazy to type

I personally I like the PSP better.

Here are some of the upsides of both.

PSP: Can hold games, songs, video and movies.  Has more features than DS

DS: Has more variety of games to play than PSP, but cannot hold songs video, and movies.

It depends on what you want.

idk which is better for girls but i like the PSP a lot better.

im sure a lot of people would say that the DS is just becuase you can get it in pink. but. i dont think its all that great. the PSP has a lot more features.

Well, I have a Nintendo DS, BUT.... I like the PSP. I might be getting one. The PSP has more features, but 1 good thing about the DS is that if you have a wii connected to the internet, you can hook up your ds to it and download game demos for the DS.
