DS trouble PLEASE HELP

Question

My son is having trouble with his nintendo ds.when he turns it on only momentarily stays lit then goes dark.

the ds has been gently used.and now even with a new battery, only briefly lights up then quickly goes dark.is there a reset button or anything i can do?

we have bought new battery for it.and charged new battery for 3 hours but screen only briefly lights up as if no power source

i had tht trouble hit my ds a couple times n it worked fine xD no seriously it got me tht pissed. hmmmmm warranty maybe?

one your in the wrong setion but anyways the screen bulb may be bad so try calling nintendo about it and if that dont work see the warrenty
