DSL Lite over Comcast?

Question

I have DSL lite and when i checked the speed the local area connection says 100.0 Mbps, but the 1394 connection says 400.0 Mbps, and comcast offers 6 Mbps, and i thought that comcast was way faster, am i missing something?

I mean really - how much faster do you want your computer to go?  How fast is too fast?
