Got my DTV converter box, hooked it up.

Is there a website that will announce when TV stations will be broadcasting the digital test signal between now and February 17, 2009?

  1. Most stations have had digital signals in the air since 2002.  You should be able to receive a good number of them now.

Visit http://www.antennaweb.org and put in your ZIP code.  This will get you a list of the stations in your area, suggest antennas to receive them and where to aim the antennas.  All of this information will be tailored for your unique situation.

Remember that digital behaves differently than analog.  With digital, if you are not getting a good enough signal the the box can decode it, it will appear as if nothing is there.  You must have a good, properly installed antenna.

I hope this helps.  Please return and select a Best Answer from all of those submitted.
