DTV tuner/reciever??

i have s**+**y antena reciever it can only recieves 1 clear channel and it can only recieves mayb 10 not so good channels... i heard about DTV tuner and reciever.... i just want to know how channels it can recieves..... i'm thinkin about 0-250 dollars.... do i have to pay monthly payment for DTV???

  1. You will probably get similar results with dtv, but the bad stations will probably cut in and out or not come up at all.  So you will likely need a better antenna or maybe an amplifier.

    They are capable of receiving all the channels you get now, plus most will have a 2nd or 3rd channel (maybe weather or an earlier program repeated)

    If you're using a regular tv, your best bet is a converter box that runs around $50 but you can get a coupon from the us gov. for $40 off.  If you have a hdtv without a tuner, you should think about getting an hd tuner box, it will get the same channels, but will send hd quality to your tv as well as surround sound.

    There is no monthly fee for over the air broadcasts.
