DVD 9 that is not purple?

Does anyone know how to get blank DVD 9s that are not purple on the bottom?? how about normal shiny cd colored?

  1. The purple color is due to 2 dyed layers. Each is sensitive to certain frequencies of light.


  2. I've only ever seen purple.  Why on earth would it matter?  Do you spend your days gazing at the bottoms of DVDs youv'e burnt?
