DVD Player. My DVD Player doesn't work suddenly and I wonder if there is simply cleaning or maintanence that

I might try (...before tossing it and buying a new one! Ha!)

Any ideas? The thing used to work fine. Did so up until I didn't use it for a couple of weeks and now it only give me an error message. Tried diff. DVD's. None seem to work and I get the same error code.

Anything else I can try or do?

Try a laser cleaner like this one (I don't know this website but you can get them at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.)

Probably got some dust in it and it's worth a try before tossing it out
