DVD-Player and VCR recording question..?

I have a dvd player and a vcr all in one system.. How do i record stuff off of tv? My Fav show comes on every morning and i wanna start taping it.. is there anyway i can save it to my dvds? or do i have to do it with vcr tapes?

  1. The dvd side has to have a dvd recorder.  Can it record?  It should tell you on the front.  You might just have to settle with VHS.
