DVD Player help can't get to play

Question

Ok, i have made my own DVD;s and have tried to play them on my DVD player, which is a Sony. The makes of my Disc are Philips DVD-RW, and TESCo DVD RW and a DVD-R, Now when i have used these DVD before they worked until now. I can't fanilise them. Any other help?

Can you copy them onto a PC and reburn them to a fresh disc?

I know there are different CD-ROM formats, one for data and the other for audio, this might be the case with recordable DVD's.
