DVD-R or CD-R?

Hi, I am trying to make a slideshow of pictures I've put together using Windows DVD Maker (.msdvd) Anyways, when I select the burn button it says "The disc in your DVD burner is not a recordable DVD. Please insert a recordable or rewritable DVD." This is when I'm using a CD-R. Do I need to use a DVD-R instead for this to work?

Yes, ish.  You could use a DVD-RW, DVD+R or DVD+RW as well.
