Having a bit of trouble with a DVD writer I have used DVD-R discs and it always fails towrds the end. Is this because the DVD writer is DVD+R? Anyone know what is wrong?

How would I be able to find this out?

Hope someone can help.

  1. If your drive will only write +R. -R media will play, but it won't record.  Either get the right media or buy a universal drive (they are cheap)

  2. it should tell you in your hand book but i thing if you have dvd-r then thats the type you need to use!

  3. Burning programme.

  4. The new DVD players coming out only need you to wite in +R. They are doing away with -R all together. If you can afford it get a new player they sell for about 49.00 at walmart and they play either +R or -R

  5. if its the wrong disc it wouldnt start recording..what make are you using, and what speed u recording at??
