ok - the problem. the video is trailing behind the audio. maybe by a bit less than a secong but it IS noticeable. is there a way to fix this? thanks

  1. I have that problem when I record to DVD on on any other setting aside from "High Quality" (2 hours recording per disc). When I recorded something at Christmas on the "4 hours per disc" setting I got exactly what you describe, the video & sound out of sync. If that is not causing it in your case then it is worth a try to connect the DVD recorder by scart to see if that helps.

  2. Yes, use scart all the way through. Your equipment should be marked to indicate the correct way to connect. If not, consult the manuals,

With scart audio and video are synchronised.

  3. use the scart because s- video does not do audio

  4. Scart is smart!
