Have copied a VHS video onto DVD through recorder. Have both sound and picture on the unit I recorded it on but when I try to play it on the other two DVD's in the house - there is picture but no sound. It plays fine on the PC. What is wrong? Both DVD players are conneceted through home theatre systems (as is the DVD recorder).

  1. hi. i would like to help u. if ur recorder records stuffs with some kind of file formates. ex. my recorder records all in xvid formate for picture quality, mpeg-3 formate for sound quality. but some home players have some properties, that some players can't play xvid foramte pictures, some can't play mpeg-3 formate sound. i think, your player doesn't accept sound format that your recorder have recorded. but max. all formated files are playable on pc. don't forget. if u recorded that well with all good physical connections, and setting. it may be a problem. so please check your player manual that what kind of sound formates that both plays and ask me again.
