DVD Region Question..Plz HelP!!!?

I'm from Malaysia (region 3) and unfortunately there are several DVDs that are unavailable here. So after seeking a friend's advice, I plan to purchase a DVD online form Amazon.com. As this DVD I desire may only be purchased from the UK or Aus which if I'm not mistaken are Region 2 and 4 respectively, I may not be able to watch it at my home DVD player. My friend said that I am enable to change the region setting on my computer but there's only a 5 time limit. So, my Q is , IF I purchase this DVD, is there a way for me to copy or burn it to a document on the computer so that I dont have to change the region setting ever so often?? any other advice would help.....thank you!!

Many options....

1. Buy a domestic DVD player that is multi-region or a hack is available for (normally about £25 in the UK).

3. Use DVD43 or equivalent with DVD-Decryptor etc.
