Question:

DVD/VCR and foxtel question?

I'm babysitting and i would like to watch a video using their VCR, but they haven't used it in a long time and i don't know what to do.

They have a working DVD player through which foxtel is connected to. If i take out the yellow, white and red cables from the DVD player and put them into the VCR, will this allow me to watch my video?

Or will this ruin foxtel and not allow me to watch the video? Because one of the boys I am babysitting for said that they once took out the cables and that ruined the foxtel and needed a repairman, and i'm not sure if he knows which cables i'm talking about.

Thankyou.

  1. A normal person would be able to just remove the cables from tht dvd player and into the vcr and it should work fine, and then they would just swap the cables back when they are finished.

obviously this family is either slightly retarded, or the kids mom just likes repairmen.

i have no ******* idea what a foxtel is, or what it does, but im pretty sure that you cant ruin one beyond repair by changing around some RCA leads.

    have fun.

if that kid gives you lip again smack him around a bit.

dont let a kid make you second guess yourself like this again.
