DVD help trying to make a video?

Aright im trying to make a video with all the top plays from our team this year, but i want to make it so its like sportscenter top 10 plays like with the number effects and all that stuff, if someone knows how to do this or has a better idea please let me know it would be greatly appreciated =)

buy a good program

i like pinnacle studio    movie maker

or there are plenty of other good programs to do what you want, but they're pretty expensive

but, once you get one they're pretty easy to learn to use

That program hasn't made it over the pond, so I've no idea what the number effects are.  Sony's Vegas Movie Studio gives you a lot of control, but you may need a titling app rather than just a video editor.  In that case, have a look at BluffTitler.
