DVD n PC computer related transfer questiion convert DVD fiiles from Hard drive to DVD blank discs?

i previously downloaded some DVD files from a DVD recorder recorded DVD movies from a TV onto my PC computer hard drive , now i m trying to copy the DVD files from my PC computer hard drive on to a few DVD blank discs , but the PC computer cannot do it

how do i copy the DVD files from my PC computer to a few DVD blank discs ??

or backup the DVD files , as they call it ??

also, where can i buy blank DVD discs for recordings on DVD recorders and my PC ??

you were able to copy  dvd movies from a tv to your pc.  using this same software, i suppose you can copy it on a blank dvd-r in your pc.  if it didn't work, check if your output device is a dvd writer, otherwise you can't copy those dvd movies.  

btw, there are a lot of free video softwares you can download from cnet.com that could do burning of dvd's from & to in several formats.

What was the error? Are you trying to save a .avi file to DVD-r? I suggest using a software specifically meant for the process rather than relying on Windows to properly copy the files. Nero is a good one.

I have used the free software for a few movies I have. The free software has a watermark though that appears every 3 minutes or so. It is not displayed if you actually purchase the software.

DVD cds are available everywhere. Mostly they are in the stationery section.
