DVD player can't read dvd?

I have a DYD2200 DVD player.

It started to read dvd's badly as if they were filthy, but they weren't.

Now it doesn't read anything anymore.

The player is 2 months old.

Should I clean it?

buy a new one. DVD players are like $20 nowadays. Save yourself the trouble.

are the dvds real or fake? like burned or bought? because some won't read if they're burned from a burned copy.lmao.
