DVD player help...hooking 2 up?

i was wondering if there wass a way that i could hook up 2 dvd players to add more surround sound well please respond thanx -mike

  1. Wow...never thought of that. So you want to buy 2 dvd's as well, and play them at the same time?

If you are looking to increase the number of speakers you have, either get a true 7.1 surround sound system with a hub (should only take one audio connection) or get a splitter to send the signal to multiple speakers. I would not recommend getting two dvd players - I can't see how that would work.

  3. I assume you're hooking them both up to a TV? I don't see how that would add more surround sound as you can only hook up each to a separate inputs on the tv. You can't hook them up to the same inputs or usually you only have one output from the TV to sound equipment. If you have more than one output on your tv then it could work.

  4. You will not be able to get "more surround sound" by using 2 dvd players. The reasons are too many to list.

    What is it that you are trying to accomplish exactly?
