DVD player help?

I have a Magnavox MWD 7006 dvd player , and I wanted to know if I can watch an HD DVD on it. It has composite and component outputs on it, but no HDMI. If I put an HD DVD in it, will I be able to actually see it in HD, or will I only be able to see it in normall quality.

If the HD DVD disc you have is a hybrid variety that is backwards playable, you will be able to watch it in the normal quality.  Your DVD player doesn't have the ability to output a higher resolution, so a higher res disc won't make a difference.
