DVD player not cooperating with my tv...?

Hello. I have plugged the correct color wires into the corresponding holes. When I push input on my remote to try and watch a dvd, all I receive is audio. Does anyone know how to fix this?

make sure theyre in the right spots on both dvd and tv if they are you may need a new cord, or a new dvd player, or a new tv...
