My Uncle sent me a disc he recorded from his video camera. It is like a small DVD disc and titled DVD-RW. I cannot play it on my PC as it will not recognise it. How can I play it on there? Can I only watch it on TV?

  1. If you have a mini dvd camcorder….

Put the dvd in your computer 's DVD player/burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (i downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.

  2. The DVD Player to your TV should be able to play it.  But your PC will need the correct codec to be able to read this.  Do you know what camera your uncle used to record this movie?  With that info, you should be able to figure out how to copy this into your PC.

In general "Super" is a super program to convert one format to a different format.  It might be worth a try to see if it can read your disc.

  3. try a dvd player.. it might be incompatible with your computer..
