Question:

DVD recorder, inexpensive?

Hi there everybody. I currently have a DVD player/recorder, but it no longer reads any of the DVDs I put into it, despite having worked with all of them before. I have a lot of things that need to get transferred to DVD, but I don't have a lot of money. So, what's a good but relatively inexpensive DVD burner?

  1. Most dvd burners are expensive so good luck on that but try ebay

  2. Did you try using a lens cleaner disc?  You can find those in most electronics departments or electronics stores.

If you tried that already buy a Sony or Panasonic DVD recorder if this is a stand alone product you want to replace.  But I hope you finalized your discs if the old machine broke because you may need another machine of that same model to finalize them now if they are not rewritable discs (which do not need to be finalized).

For computers I would suggest you ask in the computer forum but I can tell you to NOT buy LIte On or Memorex drives as I have not liked the results with either brand.
