DVD remote died how do I get to special features?

Is there a combination of buttons you can push to access different parts of the menu, like subtitles, etc? I'm such a technotard, help!

Check here for a replacement 'original' remote: http://www.remotes.com. A cheap 'universal' remote will probably not operate all of the functions of your DVD player.

Note: With the really cheap prices on a new progressive scan DVD player (some now under $30), probably the most cost effective way to go is just to junk your old player and get a new one - with a remote.

Do you have the manual, or at least the make and model so you can look that info up on the companies website?

No one can tell you how to access anything without more into.

Another idea too:  buy new batteries maybe?
