DVD strucks after copying?

Question

I copied a video in a brabded DVD from another DVD & played int he DVD player. It plays well but before 15 mins from its conclusion I can see only motionless scene ie. the the dvd strucks. Can I know the whether it is writing problem or DVD problem. If then pls explain how to rectify the problem

It could be several things.

First look at the DVD under a bright light and see if there is dirt or scratches on the recorded side.

If you see any dirt or smudges wash the DVD with dish soap & warm - not hot - water and rub in very firmly across the CD - not in a circle. Wash thoroughly and pat dry - don't rub - with a paper towel. Try it.

Burn another copy and see if that works.

Finally, try it in another player. If it works in another player you might need to clean your DVD players laser lens. You can buy a DVD cleaner anywhere electronics are sold.
