Is it illegal to rip DVD's to a computer? Why is it if so? Is ripping rented DVD's illegal? Can you make copies?

  1. DVD Shrink works well in almost all cases however

    I have rented DVDs which DVD Shrink would not

    copy.  Another download you might consider is

    Ripit4me.  It allowed me to copy the DVD which

    DVD Shrink couldn't copy.

  4. download a free version of DVD Shrink first then shrink the dvd and burn it onto a blank dvd.

  5. Whether it is legal, you may check your local law. And if you rip it  for yourself, it is always legal.
