DVD-video help,please?!

Question

My DVD rom won't read any video dvds I insert. I haven't had this problem until just a few days ago,though...

however,it can read other DVDs,for example the ones I burnt with Nero.I experience no problems with Cd's either.

Anyone any ideas? Is it software or hardware problem?

And if so,what could be the cause?

The DVD rom is rather new,less than 1 year old...

please help?!

You can try to update your drivers or even to roll them back...

Start > Contol Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > DVD/CD Drivers and double click > First try to Roll back the driver if that fails then your can update the driver...if that fails then chances are your laser is going bad or needs cleaning....
