Question:

DVD+R help!!!?

Okay I can rewrite on this....But what happens if I My rewritten stuff isnt as long as the original stuff?

Will it do like a VHS tape and start from where I left off

What will Happen if I rewrite but its not the same Length as the original Data??

How can I force this to erase? It has RW on the side

  1. You say it has RW on the side.  Do you mean the recorder?  If your recorder has RW, it can erase DVD rewritable discs (DVD+RW or DVD-RW), but you can't erase DVD+R discs...they are only meant to be written to once (or more than once, but only until full).

    If the discs are + or - RW, the software on your pc that creates DVDs can erase them.  If it's a DVD recorder hooked to a tv, then you can add to a disc until it's full. Because it's digital, you don't have to make sure you're at the end of the last show you taped...it'll know where to record.  Also, there has to be an erase feature somewhere in the menus in case you want to completely start over with an RW disc.
