DVD+R vs. DVD+R DL???

whats the difference????

can they both be played on the same DVD player???

and does it affect the quality in which speed you burn it??

  1. the only difference is that the DL means Double layer, implying exactly what it means... the disc almost has 2 players to hole twice as much data as a regular dics... great for large data transfers and stuff... other than that... identical


  2. DVD+R and DVD-R Both achieve the same result but are slightly differant in the way they are made. In the early days some DVD players wouldn't play DVD+R (i think it was +R) because they were only made to play -R. Now +R and -R work in everything.

    It is a bit like the differance between VHS and Beta video tapes. Both differant but do the same thing and a video player that will play both.
