DVR's purchasing?

What would be the best one to purchase now? I am looking for one that would possible record 2 shows at the same time and do not want to have to buy TIVO or anything like that. Also....how are the times always right on when and how to record shows?

Dish has a few DVR's that record two show at once just like the real thing TiVo. The record times are good as most DVR's have an option to activate the extended live recordings, just like the TiVo. The other DVR's you will have to rent.

If you are set against TiVo then you should get a TV tuner card for your computer. These have DVR's built in with dual tuners so you can record two shows at once also. I would never rent a DVR again. If it is from a cable company or a satellite system you will never own it. TiVo and computer Dr's are the way to go. Good Luck!
