DVR-HD problem

I have a DVR-HD writer made by Sky (Slovakia). It's absolute analog of Ellion's one. The problem is that the writer lost the HD: it reports that no HD is installed. I checked the HD and cable. I even replace the HD - no results. Some time HD returns for some time and disappear again.Please advice.Thank you.
