DVR erased??

Question

The power went out in my house, but came back on, and EVERYTHING was erased that I had "taped" on the DVR. Is this normal? Will it happen everytime the power goes out? Cuz it sucks.

it is normal but there is no way to know for sure if it'l happen every time.

Don't give up.

Unplug the DVR for a few minutes. Plug it back in and let it completely boot up. This may take several minutes.

I think your shows will be back.
