DVR help please!!?

ok so i wanna get the directv dvr package and heres my question. i like to watch nascar and sometimes im not free on the weekends and i was wondering would i be able to set the dvr to record the whole race in advanced. for example if the race is on sunday will i be able to set up the recording thing on like friday or something.

Yes the guide actually allows you to set recordings up to 14 days in advance. You can also set the dvr up to record show series. Some of the DVR's are now able to have record schedules set up from your cell phone or computer which makes it nice if you are away from home and forgot to set a recording.
