DVR troubles...?

Question

Okay so,when i go play a recording its just blank with the bar at the bottom that has the play button on it,and it won't play then.Also,when i pause something i'm watching and i hit play it won't play.So i have to change the channel,and change it back to view it.And my guide is funny colors,instead of being a light blue its a dark blue with electric green,help?

Try unplugging the power, wait 15 seconds and plug the power back in. That will reboot the DVR and should solve your problems. If that does not work call your cable/sat company.
