Dad Hates Boyfriend ?

Question

I'm 18 years old and 2 months ago i met a really nice guy but i made the worst mistake of my life i let him meet my father! He was nice enough towards my boyfriend but then as soon as he left he told me i should never see him again. If i continued to see him i would be cut out of his will and that i can't afford to happen because my dad owns hotels and a computer business, they are worth about 4.6 million dollars but i don't want it to get in the way of love. I'm just so confused i don't know what to do?

If anyone can help it would be a great help.

P.S. Please don't report this question just because i say i'm worth millions but it's true i would never tell a lie because this fight over my dad and boyfriend has drove my family apart so please if you can help me do so i'm desperate.

Unless you're Dad is a complete nutcase, this will blow over.  Also, I know you say "It's love" but it isn't.  You're only 2 months into it.  Ask your father rationally why he doesn't like him.  Act like an adult and have a rational conversation.  He may have a good point on why he's not a good Boyfriend.

...OK, I wouldn't have used the word "metaphor", but whatever.  Anyway....if you've been enrolled in "Debutant University" since age 6 then you knew the deal.  Keep your poor boyfriends away from your rich father!! You're 18, it's time you learned to lie.

What's love got to with it? You're 18 dear heart. trust me when I tell you there will be others. Don't allow this dude to come betwen you and your father. Break up and get a new one. And don't introduce him to dad.

Stand up to your father and say "Father I'm not a little girl anymore you have to see that I'm ready for a boyfriend don't be mad because it is my decision not yours" I may be 13, but i know these things. Good Luck!!!

You left out something very important. Why is your father so against this man? There is a chance if he is a person who would put you in danger or be a jerk to you, it might mean he is looking out for you. If your father is just terribly overprotective/possessive, it is another story.
