Dad is a wife beater, parents fighting, ran away from home, what should i do?

so, i've had ADD and none of my family did anything about it. i ran away from home in May because i was sick of my mom and dad fighting, and my dad beating her! my sister was off doing what every 18 year old does, and i (15) was sick of this. so i left and am staying @ my good friend Audrey's house. but my family is supposed to have a vacation in a week or so but im scared of my dad, not that he beats me, but he did once pull a chunk of my hair out! what should i do?

You should call the police or social services. I would avoid going on the vacation because if something happens you won't have people that you can turn to for help as easily as you would when you are around friends. I'm sorry that you have such a rough home life...I had a lot of emotional abuse in the home growing up and it really does effect you for a good while to come. It is good that your friend has opened up their home to you. It is important to be with a family that cares about you so you can learn what a "normal" family is like. It helped me out a lot.

First off everything will be alright just

have faith and trust. This may sound

weird i guess but id give my dad one

more chance; you really want to go

to this trip and if you were to call the

police that would be canceled. you never

know maybe that trip will do your family

some good. maybe try talking to your

dad; if he doesnt hurt you then that means

he would sit out and listen to you. explain

what you feel and you love them all and

want things to get better. now if things get worst

and you see no improvement and your

father is still beating your mom call the

authorities. make sure you tell them to

say that people around heard/ saw whats

going on in your house. that way your

dad doesnt take it out on you afterwards.

everything will be alright; have trust in God.

I've ran away before too..

go to the police and tell them whats going on.

they will get you the help you need.

OMG!!!! THAT IS SO HORIBLE. IM SO SORRY U HAVE TO GO THREW THAT. I KNOW ITS REALY HARD. Are you at your friend's house now? If you are, I would stay there. I don't think its appropriate that you stay with your parents at this time in your/their lives.

Talk to someone at a teen crisis center.  Have your friends Mom help you find the right people to call..but YOU do the calling.
