Dad won't let me have a BF!!!?

I am in my first year of Junior High and I really want a BF. I am 12 and my dad wont let me. I am mature and I can handle it. When I said my other friends are dating or have dated someone, he just pulled the classic "Well I'm not their parents." thing. I know we can't really go out anywhere but at my school having a BF is just basically....

1. sitting together at lunch.

2. Calling each other... 'just because'.

3. Walking together in the halls.

4. Calling each other BF/GF.

I think you get it, just that sort of thing.

How do I get my dad to let me have a boyfriend?

and if ur friends say tht their parents let them

they are probably lying

i say go ahead...

dont get with older guys

dont let him take advantage of you

dont movee too fast [trust u will regret it]
