Dad won't let me landscape because of ticks and mom's afraid of me getting kidnapped?

WHAT DO I DO!!!???? I want to start a landscaping business in North Jersey and my dad is totally against the idea saying that when I do the leaves I'll be bitten by a tick and die from lime disease and my mom thinks that I'll be kidnapped by the people who own the land. What do I do? How can I convince them otherwise? I HAVE PARANOID PARENTS!

Tell them you don't want them to drive, because driving is dangerous.  You could always get rammed/sideswiped by a drunk driver, speeder, kid on a cellphone, car failure, ect.

See what I did there?  Could also do the computer with security/ID theft, but that's a bit harder imo.   Understanding the relative risks is part of life and maturing.
