Hi,
I have just taken delivery of the above, the freezer part has an ice & water dispenser, it is supposed to get it's supply of water from the mains which I did not realise!
Can I still use the above without connecting it to the mains, the freezer controls are all digital and according to the manual I am supposed to do the the plumbing before switching on the freezer as I will be asked to set the controls for the ice maker on start up?
The freezer is in it's tempoary position until work is carried out in the kitchen next summer and has no access to mains water, I thought, wrongly, that you filled up a water container within the freezer! The machine automaticaly makes 12 cubes of ice a day, will it be calling for water even though there is none? Am I likely to damage the freezer by not having a water supply?
The manaul does not state that the freezer can be run without water, but does state that the system will ask me to hold certain buttons on start up to bleed any air that may be in the water pipe!
Thanks for your help,
Mick Joyce, aka Plonka!
