Question

When starting from cold revs at approx 1000 but instead of dropping, as engine warms tick over increases to approx 2500, temp gauge is at normal operating temp and coolant levels ok with no loss of water. Can anybody help please. Thank you, Len

you could have a vacuum leak

important on your car  at 50000 miles  replace the timing belt  water pump and all idler pullies  if that belt brakes  usually at 55000 it causes $2500 in dammages
