  1. I think Mike Richter deserves some consideration from the Rangers. I like that they will retire Graves's sweater, to most people it may look like a little much, but to Rangers fans he was one of our all time favorites.

I wonder who's going to retire Chelli's number when he hangs em up? Detroit, Chicago, or both?

I bet the Cane's consider retiring Glen Wesley's number next year. He's been with them since the start.

  2. Sabres:

32 Rob Ray. So many yrs w/the team and has dfone so much for the organization and one of the most popular players

Hasek will wgether I like it or not

    iceman: Ritchers number was retired

  3. #31 Pelle Lindbergh.Nobody will ever wear it but Flyers mangement should put it in the rafters so when kids see it they can ask their dad aboot the player he was.

  4. rangers

adam graves #9 hasnt yet but will next year

i would retire jeff beukeboom's #23 for being a bada$$ but thats just me

  5. Capitals #12 Peter Bondra.

  6. my team (Pittsburgh) is too young to have any numbers retired.

do you think that defenseman for vancouver (i dont remember his name) who died recently in a motorcycle accident will have his number retired?  i doubt it but you never know in today's sports world.

  7. Agreed Joe! Lindbergh for sure!

and i wont go into the leafs because they dont retire anything unless your dead.

for example, i think Gilmours number should be retired for starters.

but i think the Manitoba Moose and/or the Vancouver Canucks should consider Luc Bourdon's number 28.
